Visual identity for the 150th anniversary of Finland’s national treasure, composer Jean Sibelius.
Jean Sibelius (born in 1865) is one of the most famous Finnish composers. In 2015 he was celebrated for his significance for modern Finnish culture. The logo is a play with his name and the anniversary of 150 years.
The celebration committee sent letters to prominent concert halls informing them how they could take part in the celebrations. As a consequence the orchestras took Sibelius compositions to their repertoire.
The envelopes were custom made for this campaign. Coloured papers were selected to catch interest.
Visual guidelines and a digital material bank was created to provide easy access to all the visual elements.
